RICHMAND, Virginia (WRIC) – The Virginia Department of Transportation reminds drivers to stay vigilant and careful while driving at night after mixed rainfall.
Temperatures are expected across Virginia go below zero tonight and stay there until late Monday morning. It can easily create ice and ice on the roadway.
Drivers are reminded that roads can be dangerous even without noticeable ice, and bridges, ramps and overpasses freeze at temperatures above the asphalt.
