VCU gets perfect Virginia record, wins home game final against GMU

RICHMAND, Virginia (WRIC) – The men’s basketball team of the Commonwealth University of Virginia has completed a complete sweep of the Commonwealth after winning today’s game against George Mason University.

Rams finished their first evening on a high note, leaving the court with a final score of 72-66.

The GMU Patriots were the only team left between the VCU and a a perfect record against Virginia teams for the season 2021-2022

The win allows the Rams to win a six-game winning streak, with only three games left in the regular season.

The Rams will play UMass away on Saturday, Feb. 26, St. Bonaventure on Tuesday, March 1, and end the regular season with a trip to St. Louis on Saturday, March 5th.
