The Shamrock Marathon will affect traffic on the Virginia Beach oceanfront

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVES) – Portions of the oceanfront will be closed during this year’s Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.

According to A tweet from the Virginia Beach Police Department, portions of the oceanfront will be closed during the event, which runs March 17-19.

Below is a list of road closures that will be in effect during the event:
