Roanoke, Virginia – The community continues to remember Tabitha Thompson, a cyclist who died Friday after he was hit by a car.
On Tuesday night, a weekly walk to the Fleet Feet pub will be in memory of Thompson. It will begin at 6pm at the Big Lick Brewing Company in downtown Roanoke. Images and signature cards will be exhibited. Attendees are asked to continue sharing their stories about her.
“When you are on social networks, you have already learned a lot about her, because stories have been told about her. She was a little little man, and she put 150% of her energy into everything she did, ”said Fleet Feet owner Robin Lewis.

Thompson trained before the Blue Ridge Marathon, and many people turned to social media with the hashtag # Miles4Tab to dedicate their workouts to her memory.
