Suffolk opens an online survey to provide feedback on flood issues

Suffolk, Virginia (Wavy) – The Suffolk Department of Public Works hopes to receive information from the flood community.

Public Works has opened an online poll that will run until March.

Businesses, residents and other stakeholders can respond to a survey aimed at identifying flood relief projects.

The survey results will also help create a sustainability plan that will aim to reduce flooding and increase resilience. With this plan, the city will be able to apply for Virginia Flood Preparedness Fund (CFPF) grants to partially fund some projects.

If you are unable to access the survey online, contact Project Manager Matt Fangella at 757-514-767 to learn about other locations.
