Roanoke College basketball games postponed due to burst pipe

SALEM, Virginia. – The Roanoke College men’s and women’s basketball games scheduled for Jan. 14 will be postponed due to a burst pipe at the Crager Center.

Both games will be played Saturday at the Bast Center gym.

Athletic director Scott Allison said a pipe burst at the Crager Center during the winter break in extremely cold temperatures, causing water damage to one end of the gym floor.

The women’s basketball game against Randolph is still scheduled for 2 p.m., while the men’s basketball game against Shenandoah is still scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Roanoke College Athletics said while floor repairs are expected to result in a change of venue, those details will be announced as they become available.
