Road closures announced for the Clarendon Festival in Arlington

If you’re driving around Arlington, Virginia this weekend, keep in mind that several festivals, including a big one in Clarendon, will close several streets.

If you’re driving around Arlington, Virginia this weekend, keep in mind that several festivals, including a big one in Clarendon, will close several streets.

2022 year Clarendon Dayfeaturing music, food and art, will close several streets all day on Saturday, September 24.



The festival starts at 11am, but road closures come into effect from 3am and will last until 10pm.

Closures:

  • Wilson Boulevard, from N. Highland Street to Washington Boulevard;
  • Clarendon Boulevard, from Washington Boulevard to N. Garfield Street;
  • N. Highland St., from 11th St. N. to Wilson Blvd.;
  • N. Herndon St., from Wilson Blvd. to alley behind CVS;
  • N. Hudson St., from Wilson Blvd. to alley behind CVS;
  • South by N. Highland St., from N. Hartford St. to Wilson Blvd.

Arlington is home to a number of other festivals this weekend, including the Prio Bangla Festival in Arlington Heights; Beckett’s Celtic Festival in Shirlington; and Valley Fest near Four Mile Run.
