PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVE) – Police are investigating a homicide Saturday night in Portsmouth.
Police said the incident came in around 6:25 p.m. in the 1100 block of Frederick Boulevard.
An officer near the scene told 10 On Your Side’s Raven Payne that the victim was a 19-year-old man and that he went into CHKD after the shooting. The man later died from his injuries.
No additional information has been released at this time. The investigation continues.
