No one was injured in a fire near a house in Chesapeake on Wednesday

Chesapeake, Virginia (Wavy) – Chesapeake officials said no one was injured in a fire near a one-story home on Wednesday night.

The fire department responded to a report of a fire in a residential building in the Portlock area around 9:41 p.m.

The fire broke out outside a one-story house at the back of a building in the 1200 quarter on Kay Avenue.

At the time of the fire, one person was at home and came out when firefighters arrived on the scene.

At 21:53 the fire was put out

The reason was determined by chance.

No help from the American Red Cross was needed, officials said.
