The Virginia field hockey team will be seeded as the No. 3 seed for the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, which will be held Nov. 1-4 at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.

The Cavaliers (11-6, 3-3 ACC) will face No. 6 seed Louisville (12-6, 1-5 ACC) on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the third game of the opening day. The winner of that game will advance to play either No. 2 seed Wake Forest (14-4, 5-1 ACC) or host Duke (7-10, 0-6 ACC) on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m

All tournament games will be broadcast on the ACC Network and streamed online on ACCNX.

Virginia tied for third with Syracuse and Boston College for the 3rd most goals scored.

Tickets for the adult tournament are $10. A one-session pass is $5. Youth under 18 are free.
