NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A tour bus carrying country singer-songwriter Hardy and three others has crashed, injuring everyone on board.
All four people on the bus were treated for “serious injuries” in the crash as they headed home from Saturday’s show in Bristol, Tennessee, Hardy said on social media. He did not provide details of the damage.
A bus overturned on Interstate 40 West near Nashville early Sunday morning, news outlets reported.
Hardy said he has been released from the hospital, but doctors have told him to focus on his recovery for the next few weeks. The musician asked to pray for the bus driver, who is still in the hospital.
Hardy won the Academy of Country Music’s Songwriter of the Year in 2022, and as a singer-songwriter, he has had chart-topping hits including “Sold Out” and the collaborative song “One Beer.”
