Loudoun Schools Co. open a distance learning portal for the next school year

Laudan County Public Schools remind students and parents that they will offer virtual learning for middle and high school students in the 2022-23 school year.

Students interested in distance learning must apply through web application online considered for enrollment in the program. According to a press release, the application portal will close on March 31.

This is the only opportunity that Ludov County schools provide to families to apply for distance learning in the 2022-23 school year.

Students enrolled in distance learning in the 2021-22 academic year must re-apply for consideration. Those who attended personal classes in the current academic year can also apply to participate in the program.

According to a press release, anyone not admitted to distance learning will remain in their “personal home school”.

When it comes to choosing a course for distance learning, students and families are encouraged to use the StudentVue / ParentVue school system web portal and collaborate with a school counselor to select classes.

The program will be completely virtual and synchronous throughout the school year.
