“I am proud of Ukrainians”: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher allocate $ 3 million to help Ukrainian refugees

(WJW) – Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are raising funds for refugees and humanitarian aid in Ukraine while Russia continues to attack the country.

The actors started Fr. GoFundMe company Thursday, promising in a video that their family would receive up to $ 3 million.

A statement issued by Kunis said in part:

“Today I am a proud Ukrainian. When my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) in 1983. Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help when needed. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity as a whole is devastating, and the Ukrainian people need our support. “

The company says the donations will benefit Flexport.orgwhich sends aid supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.

It also benefits Airbnb.orgwhich recently offered to accommodate up to 100 thousand Ukrainian refugees for free.

The goal is to reach $ 30 million. As of Friday morning, the company had raised more than $ 3.1 million.
