Jimmy Carter, the oldest living former US president, celebrated his 98th birthday on Saturday.

Carter, who served as the 76th governor of Georgia before becoming the 39th president, wrote 30 books, taught at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity after leaving the White House. according to the center.

However, in recent years, the ex-president kept a low profile. He survived a diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and underwent surgery to relieve pressure on his brain caused by a subdural hematoma still in 2019.
