Roanoke, Virginia – We often hear that March “enters like a lion and leaves like a lamb.” If so, March 2022 comes like a quiet kitten, not a roaring lion.
Tuesday, the 1st, morning starts cool. We need warmth while driving to work. However, in the afternoon the windows are closed or the air conditioner is running.
High temperatures reach the 60s in most of our five zones.
Wednesday will be even warmer, so we have some very good days to wash the car, walk the dog, etc.
The front from the north will sag from the south from Thursday to Friday, but there won’t be much moisture on it (if there will be). It will mainly serve as a temperature changer. Friday will be colder and cloudy, the temperature will warm up to 50.
The storm system in the west is forcing the front back to the north. The Southwest Stream returns to the area over the weekend early next week.
This means that from Saturday to Monday unusual heat with highs of the 60s and 70s.
This is stated in the forecast of the Climate Forecast Center from 6 to 10 March. Showers are possible on Monday, but it seems the best chance of weather wetter than average will be in our west.
