BEIJING – One look at their faces and you will know. The trouble is that you can’t look at their faces. They are in protective suits and goggles.

It doesn’t matter. At Beijing Capital International Airport, body language tells a story.

It’s the story of weeks of Olympic work surrounded by COVID testing, COVID checkpoints and cleaning up – very carefully – when thousands of visitors stop in your capital during the COVID era.

Associated Press photographers driving through the airport on their way home after the Winter Games found workers in closed suits showing off tired body language as they worked to drive visitors out of China – and keep departure areas completely clean.

Take a look at these images of Alessandra Tarantino, Ashley Landis and Frank Augstein and you will see. You may even feel a little tired.
