ROANOKE, VA. – After a beautiful Thanksgiving, we found ourselves in the middle of two fronts.
All of this leads to a few showers on Friday morning. These will be easy – if anything.
After these systems pass through Friday afternoon, winds will turn to the west with gusts between 25 and 35 mph.
Afternoon high temperatures rise to 50-60 degrees! More clouds are expected in the mountains and more sun in the east.
Once the wind dies down, we’ll drop into the 30s on Saturday morning. However, we’ll warm up again as temperatures climb into the 60s.
Another storm system moves into the Gulf of Mexico, dumping rain our way overnight through about noon Sunday.
As soon as the rain ends, the temperature and wind speed will increase again.
By Monday and Tuesday, we will cool down and calm down.
