Deadly Saturday crash in Chesterfield

Chesterfield, Virginia (WRIC) – According to Chesterfield Police, one person was killed in an accident in Chesterfield County on Saturday morning.

Police say the driver was driving east on Beulah Road just before 8:50 a.m. Feb. 19 when he drove off the right side of the road and ran into a tree.

Their passenger, whose identity is not identified until close relatives are notified, was seriously injured and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The Bull Road between Hopkins Road and Sinderwood Drive will be closed for the next few hours, police said.
