Cool snow on Sunday night

A cold Sunday is expected across the area! I wish we could throw the penalty flag to Mother Nature and give her a 15-degree fine this big Sunday to help warm her up.

The temperature on Sunday will not rise much – most of the day will be 40 to 30 degrees. North-northeast wind 10-20 m / s is expected, gusts up to 30 g in some places. This will make you feel a little cooler.

So great talk, of course, about the snow, but I wouldn’t get too worried. It will be more of an event “oh, look, it’s snowing” than an event with a big impact.

It will snow on Sunday afternoon and evening as the front approaches our area. First there will be winter weather, in the evening small snowfalls. Check out FutureTrack below to learn about the latest and don’t forget that you can track snow with our WAVY Weather app.

In general, the amount of snowfall is expected to be minimal with the possible accumulation of light on the grass and hills.

There will be light snowfall / rain on Sunday and Monday nights. A cool Monday with highs will only be in the 30s. On Monday, the wind will still remain, so it will get colder again.

Later this week, it looks like we will warm up again with temperatures up to 50-60s. The front comes in late Thursday, helping us cool down and bring us rain.

Good Sunday!
