“Bless God”: A bank robber apologizes for stealing in Tampa

Tampa, FL (WFLA) – A man who robbed a bank in Tampa, Florida, apologized a few minutes before escaping with a bag of cash, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Officers said the man handed the cashier a note stating he had a weapon before saying, “Fill it up fast, quick, quick, quick.”

After the bank employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the man said “God forbid” and “I’m sorry” before fleeing the bank.

Police believe the robber is 30-40 years old; last seen in a face mask, blue or gray hoodie, brown pants and red shoes.
