A Richmond woman died after a motorcycle accident in Henry County

Henry County, Virginia (WRIC) – Virginia Police are investigating a motorcycle accident that killed a Richmond woman in Henry County.

On Wednesday, March 2 at 19:10, on Route 1112 at the intersection with Route 667 in Henry County, police were called.

The 2006 Harley Davidson was driving west on Route 1112 when the motorcycle pulled off the right side of the roadway. He then hit the conductor for the pole and resulted in the riders being thrown off the motorcycle.

36-year-old Dillard Ray Scott Fleming was driving a motorcycle and was wearing a helmet at the time. HE was taken by helicopter to Roanoke Memorial Hospital because of injuries he received in the crash.

The passenger of the motorcycle, 42-year-old Melinda Dawn Kingsley from Richmond, was in a helmet, but unfortunately died at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
