A Loudoun County school employee has been charged with assaulting a student

A Loudoun County Public Schools behavior aide has been charged with assaulting a student.

A behavior assistant in Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia has been charged with assaulting a student.

Julie Hancher, 55, of Leesburg, was charged with two counts of assault, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

School staff at Lightridge Middle School in Aldie told a school resource officer last week that Hancher had assaulted a student twice in the classroom.
