Over the years, some streaming services have been gradually growing. Netflix recently increased its standard plan from $ 13.99 to $ 15.49. With so many quality platforms available these days, subscribing to them all can end up being a big chunk out of your bank account each month.
Not all streaming services require a monthly fee. In fact, some don’t even require registration, though you may have to watch some commercials.
We decided to compile a list of streaming platforms that you can check out if you want more content in your life but don’t want to pay more money.
VUDU is an American digital video store and streaming platform that advertises 8,000 movies and TV shows for free with advertising. The platform also allows you to purchase and rent movies and can be used on multiple media devices. Registration required but no subscription required.
Tubi is an advertising-enabled streaming service owned by Fox Corporation. It is available for free on Android, iOS, Roku and others. You can watch Tubi without registering or logging in to your Tubi account, but logging in allows you to save movies and shows to your queue.
Crackle is an ad-supported streaming video platform owned by Chicken Soup for Soul Entertainment. His library is a mix of original content and purchased programs. The service is free to use, but, like other streaming platforms, rewards you for registering an account.
Peacock (Free level)
Peacock is a premium streaming video service operated by NBCUniversal. The channel has levels that require you to pay, but it has a basic version that has commercials that do not require a credit card. The free version advertises the presence of more than 50 constantly included channels, as well as many popular TV shows, movies and more.
Pluto TV is an advertising-enabled service that boasts hundreds of popular movie and TV channels. The service gives you the feeling of surfing through channels and does not require logging in.
XUMO is a free streaming application with advertising support. The app also tries to give you the feel of cable TV where you can watch channels. No registration is required and it can be downloaded on most media platforms.
