STAFford County, Virginia (WRIC) – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder that took place Monday afternoon in a North Stafford residential complex.
On Feb. 21 at 2:42 p.m., deputies went to Harrison Woods Drive, 205, to report the shooting.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they saw eyewitnesses providing first aid to a man with gunshot wounds.
The Stafford County Fire and Rescue Service took the victim to hospital, but the man died of his injuries at 3:21 p.m., police said.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Christopher McDuffie of Stafford. The first investigation revealed that McDuffie was shot several times in the courtyard between apartment buildings.
The murder suspect was described as a man of medium skin color in his twenties. He was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, wearing a black ski mask, a cap for skill, gray sweats and a blue hoodie.
According to police, the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
